That makes me so happy, Sam. My life's mission is to spread the Cafe Spaghetti gospel🫡 🍝 Happy birthday!

Thrilled to try it!!! What is the drink of choice when you’re there? Wine? Negronis? Martinis?

This is the hardest part of ordering there. The spaghetti spritz is usually what I start with. It's more bitter and balanced than an Aperol spritz and comes with 3 fat castelvetrano olives in it to snack on. Then I'll choose a cocktail or look at the wine list. They make a perfect negroni, but also have a very delicious white negroni on the menu and an incredible olive oil martini. And I don't like martinis! Giovanna can talk you through the full wine list, there's a lot of fun bottles on it and she's really good at choosing one you'll love. They also have a cheap and very solid house red that I usually get when I go with a big group.

I'm sorry for this essay about ordering drinks lol

Omg no thank you for the detail this is just what I was looking for! Spaghetti spritz sounds sublime now I’m drooling thinking about it

I can't believe I have more to say but I completely forgot about their espresso martinis. I don't really fuck with them but theirs is delicious and I really like getting one to share with the table for dessert lol

Fun fact about Bonnie’s - it is named after chef/owner Calvin Eng’s mom. Bonnie’s other child, Melissa, is the longest tenured pharmacist at C.O. Bigelow (10+ years). Bonnie is an unassuming NY legend. And yes, the McRib lives up to the hype.

Damn, she really is a legend. A family of absolute bosses

Perfect list. Love Wu’s, love Bonnie’s. My boyfriend loves to bring his own wine, and the low to sometimes non-existent corkage fees at Wu’s make that very easy. You can post up with multiple bottles for half the price you would pay anywhere else. I feel like Chinatown is very underrated for this feature. If you have a friend/someone we love who is picky about wine, finding a place where you can post up with your own and just enjoy the food is great. Sometimes picking something out for the table is momentarily tense!

Atmosphere at Wu’s is great too. Everyone is happy.

Everyone IS happy at Wu's!!! It's a perfect place. I don't think I've ever been charged a corkage fee there. Maybe it's changed recently or there's a bottle per person limit?

What's your must get dish at Wu's?

My go-to’s are maybe a little out there because I’m celiac and sadly cannot partake in noodles and dumplings, but I love the jellyfish, the anchovy omelette, fish maw soup, and getting the huge crispy fish for the table (I think

it’s either grouper or sole).

people either love or hate the texture of jellyfish but the salty flavor and crunchy is texture is incredible with the right sauce!

Wow I've never tried any of those!!! THANK YOU. Definitely getting the crispy fish and anchovy omelette next time I'm there. Maybe I'll be brave and try the jellyfish too

That WINNER BLT is top. Though I’m sad CSG retired their Turkey Club (at least for now according to Matt and Eric). It was more complicated/expensive to prep apparently. I used to always get one after a haircut at Blue & Black.

I had one tonight! That thick Lugers style bacon really hits. But ugh that's sad, the turkey two ways was so genius. Their BLT should be coming back soon though...
