A friend gushed to me last weekend about an almost perfect bar she went to recently. They have a million TVs and play every big game but prioritize Knicks games. You can always get a seat, but it never feels empty. People are excited about the games, but itβs not too loud that you canβt have a conversation. It's comfy, it's cheap, the bartenders are nice. Itβs in Bushwick β so thatβs why itβs not perfect β no, that's not it. The food isn't good. Actually, it's pretty bad.
That place does sound awesome to me, and if I were looking for somewhere in Bushwick to watch the Super Bowl tonight, with βmouth-watering super tasty snacksβ in mind, Iβd stop there first (itβs Louβs Athletic Club) before walking down the street to a bar that serves exceptional chicken nuggets, a new steak burger topped with extra thick pickles and a $20 steak frites au poivre hybrid that I canβt stop thinking about.
